Britannia Panopticon Music Hall
Britannia Panopticon Music Hall is the oldest surviving music hall in the UK - if not the world. It was founded on the Trongate in Glasgow in 1857.
Over the years the stage saw performances by such greats as Harry Lauder, Dan Leno, Marie Loftus, Charles Coburn, Harry Champion, W F Frame, and the debut of a 16 year old Stan Laurel in 1906.
